My child has been at AES from 1st to 4th grade and is moving on to the middle school next year. He is very bright but has special needs and has really struggled at this school. We have had to work hard to get some of his teachers to follow his IEP and we have not always been happy about the way discipline has been handled. The curriculum has not been creative or engaging and even though my son spends 6 hours a day there, we have to spend hours more at home, after homework, teaching him basic math skills that he is not getting at school.
Have not had a problem with this school and my child is in 4th and my youngest is just starting in K
Up until this year this school was great, but their is a new principal who comes from being a high school principal. Not impressed with him..
