This is a school where the Principal marjorie soto) will be the amazing principal if you are a parent that can provide money or grants for the school if not don't bother having your child here because you as a parent and your child will be ignore.

It's hard to measure the test results for the Hurley when you take into account that it's a 2-way language immersion program. While still improving academically overall, the Hurley provides an amazing and immeasurable opportunity for kids to learn in 2 languages - which is a huge academic challenge to the kids. The Principal is very strong, the teachers are excellent, and the parents are extremely engaged in this school.

I think the hurley came a long way. Back in the day classes were very little, no gym, no library. The teachers have always been involved, and the principal (ms. Soto) is something to cheer about. Thank god for her.

The Hurley is a wonderful little school in the South End. Principal Marjorie Soto is an amazing leader and parent involvement is extremely high. In the two-way bilingual immersion program native English and Spanish speakers learn together in both languages. The school has recently added a gym, a library, and a playing field.

Hurley School is the poster child school for the renaissance of Boston Public Schools. With a very strong parents group raising millions for the schools over the past four years, the Hurley School is the best choice in BPS for the South End, Back Bay.
