What is the best elementary school (public) in Mass?

We have a son that is 6 years old and very bright. We would like to put him in a public school that would challenge him. Is there any such thing? What areas have the best schools and which school in particular? We work in Boston and would like to stay close. Thank you for any help you can give.

Welcome! I don't live in Boston, but I wanted to tell you about the "Research and Compare" feature on the green menu bar near the top of this page...you can enter a city and grade level and it will tell you about schools in that area. Schools that rate 10 perform the highest on statewide testing. If you click on the individual names of schools, you can find out more details.

If you're still out there, which school did you pick and what was your experience? I am in the exact spot you were 4 yrs ago, with a bright 6 yr old. 81479
