I attended this school and went on to an Ivy League. You get what you put into this school. If you want to take the many AP classes, then you challenge yourself and work hard for your grades. You will truly be prepared for a top university. If you choose to coast through four years here, then that is your choice. There are some amazing and challenging teachers and fantastic resources. The athletics and extracurricular activities are all free still, and are extensive, more extensive than most schools offer around here. The building is old, but that does not define an education.

Although the school has seen better days Burlington High is acutally a really great school. You have your amazing teachers that make you think why in the world are they teaching here?! and you do have the bad. The new principal is so involved with the school and is making a GREAT difference. The admins are also just as great! The school has the small town charm where everyone is kind to everyone. Even though the school has some leaks and breaks, it add to the experiance

My son graduated several years ago, and my daughter is currently attending. She is a solid student, while he had some mild learning issues. Mixed bag of teachers, like any school, public or private, which they have also attended. The new principal is open and responsive.

BHS is a great school. Like any where else, you get out what you put in. My children have been very happy and successful. They have had many wonderful and qualified teachers who really care about the students and love what they do. There are teachers who are not very good at all and should be let go. There are many wonderful extracurricular for the students to become involved in. As a parent I would recommend this high school.

This school is ok. You get a good education, but the school is literally falling apart.

I sent my child to this school and she did not like it. There is not much disapline at all in this school. Some of the children in the lower levels are out of control. The teachers can not control there class.
