My husband and I homeschooled our children for 6 yrs. My son went to school in seventh grade at Dudley Middle School as his first year in school since kindergarten. The principal, teachers and staff were so helpful to all of us in the transition. My son really enjoyed all the teachers and staff. Most of all they understood that he would need some time and help to make the transition and yet they never lowered their expectations of him academically. The communication system for homework and progress is very well organized. We chose to live in Dudley for the school system once we chose to use one and we are glad we did so.
It's awesome.I love this school.Great people,great teachers,it's just a wonderful learning experience.
I go to scholl here and it is exellent.
I am a student in eight grade here, and I have been attending this school for three years. This school is excellent...and here is a great place to go if you want the best for your student/Child!This school has great teachers and a great staff. The teachers are very caring and welcoming!:)They take care of us and the school.
DMS is a great school. Led by Greg Desto, this school is a great place to attend. As a student at DMS for the past 4 years, I can honestly say that its one of the best middle schools in MA. It does a great job preparing students for the high school. The MCAS scores are very good, and so is everything else there, too! It's a great place to be!
The programs are outstanding and the the teachers/aides/Special Ed department/Principal/Volunteers are outstanding. I have had five years experience with this school through my two children and would not change anything. I truly feel that the success my son is now having in high school and my daughter, who is still in Dudley Middle, has to be credited to the excellence of the teachers. They have given my son and daughter incentives by just caring and letting them know that they had it in them to do their best and never gave up on them. We have soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball teams. The art projects are amazing. The music department has numerous bands, Show Choir and Color Guard who all just won gold medals in a competition. The PTO is a fabulous organization. They are warm, caring, supportive and very involved.
I moved to Dudley so that my son would have the best education available in MA. The high rent is worth the taxes paid for this district. The PTO is warm and encouraging. The sports programs are balanced well with the Performing Arts.
The reason I live in this town is because of the school system. Teachers here are involved with the students, they care for them and work hard to make sure these kids are being given the education they deserve. You only get one chance at a good education and I want the best for my children.
This school gives a very good education to kids and has some wonderful teachers!
