This school has been closed and torn down. It was closed in 2008. The nearby hospital bought the land and tore down the building in 2010.
I have been at St. Anne School since pre-school and I am now in eigth grade. News that the school will be closing in June 2008 has brought much sadness and confusion to both the students, teachers, and faculty. St. Anne School is a great school with an amazing faculty. Every teacher tries their hardest to make sure you fully understand all the material given. St. Anne School is the equivalent to a family, with people who truly care about you. I could not think of any better place to spend my past ten years of education. It will be an extremly derpressing day when we declare the school closed. You may be closing down our school, but you can never break up the family that St. Anne School has become.
Great school with spirit. Teachers and parents work together for te benefit of the children
I've been in this school since pre-school. It's a small school. Not a lot of extracurricular activities, but they do have some. The academics are good. Some of the teachers are really funny and do a very good job of teaching them. Others don't seem to explain the subject clearly. Most of the teachers are nice, others aren't.The parent involvement is pretty good. Since we have home and school association. Parents and teachers may get together by making an appointment and discuss an issue. There isin't a lot of field trips. The dances they offer ranges from ok to great. They usually have them for grades 6-8 and usually once every month. I'll have to say overall it's an ok school. If you want to give your kids a better education and have more extracurricular activities, send them to a public school.
I really enjoy the fact that my child attends Saint Anne School. The cirriculum is at a level that is consistent with other schools in the area. There is a huge gang problem here in Fall River and this school shows no signs of gangs. They even have a Policeman that works in the school. My daughter is very close to all of the other students and it appears that they are a tight knit group. I feel safe dropping my child off every day and being a working mother it helps that they have extended hours of child care. Again, I feel safe having my child at this school. The tuition appears to be comparable if not less then all other private schools in the area.
Its a very great school I like it and I really like more people to go its very pretty and safe playgrounds.
This school is a great school my children absolutly love it there it has great teachers and the other parents dont know what they are talking about. the school is great my children love it. They are not behind they are ahead and they have extra ciriculam activites such as drama club, basketball, homework club, and tutoring. the teachers ae barely late. I would never send my child anywhere else but St.Annes scool. Sincerly, Kimberly
Hi, I am a student at St.Anne school.I've been going to St.Anne since I was in pre-school. I attend sixth grade now. My school is not as bad as people make it out to be. The teachers are incredible. Their are nice and helpful. They explain things clearly. Free tutoring is offerd for the students, and I think it realy makes a difference on us. Not only do the teachers make a influence on us but also the people that attend and work at our school. We're all kinda a big famliy at St. Anne. I love the way my school is run and I would never change one thing about my school. -Greatly Satisfied Student :o)
I preferably do not like the St. Annes as I have had my child in it and the curriculum is just not right and her classes aren't very structured and absences of teachers is high, the school's fee is not worth it and I enrolled my child into Atlantis Charter school which has higher scores and my daughter love sit there!
This school dosen't offer many classes. If the gym teacher is out the students just won't get gym that day. Our child's teacher is at least 10 minutes late every day and has been absent too many days. The class is behind academically. There are some really good teachers, however, morale is low and some teachers should not in many parents opinion be teaching there. There really isn't any better alternative be it public or another school in the diocese. Our child gets science class maybe once per month. They don't even get music class. Just the basics and barely that. Leadership at this school is below average. This school is not worth the tuition.
