I have two daughters in this school. 2010/2011 was my first year in this school district. Wish my children and me luck for 2011/2012 school year. I am very disappointed with communication between parent and teachers. I sent a note with my daughter to give to her teacher. I checked my daughters book bag for two days looking for a response back. Never recieved one back, then when school was dismissed I spoke to my daughters teacher. The teacher informed me that sheverbally told the answer to my note to my daughter to verbally relay to me. On Fridays the school lets out at 1:00. The second Friday week of our first year in this school district I went to pick up the girls. I arrived at the schoo, my daughters and approx 5 other children where the only ones waiting to be picked up every one else was gone. Verifing if I may of been late, I looked at the time on my cell phone, it was 12:58.Out of confusion I went and spoke to one of the teachers directly. She informed me that once all the classes are lined up ready to leave that they go ahead and dsimiss the children. Relief to me that they did not leave the children that had not been picked up alone.

This is the best elementary school in the New Bedford area. Also, Mrs. Andrade is the greatest principle ever :)
