They now have an Academy system that help advance the student towards colleges, and career paths. It an amazing advance program. Only the most advance schools have programs like this. I see Northbridge part of the top ten in the state in just a few years.

School is well build with advanced systems and good teachers. Although school budget put a damper on things other funding has pulled through showing a strong school community.

The school went through serious budget cuts years back and they got rid of a large number of really great teachers. The administration is often slow in dealing with problems and the special education department is a mess to be polite. Parental concerns are often swept under the rug and the driving force is to just push the child ahead to the next grade and "pass the buck," no one steps up to be responsible for ensuring your child makes effective progress as a student. Support is said to be in place for students but nine times out of ten when they try to access that support it is unavailable. I would not intentionally place my child in this school system. Graduating from this high school would probably give a student the equivalent of a middle school education.

I'm a senior at Northbridge High and it has been the greatest experience of my life. Everyone is so friendly and the sports programs are outstandind. Work hard and you will be rewarded here.

I graduated from NHS last year and I want to disagree with the kid who wrote the previous review. I learned a great deal at Northbridge because I worked and studied. I wasn't at the top of my class and didn't play a ton of sports thou. I was about average. I know kids in sutton, blackstone, upton, milford and Auburn, and they all received an education that is about the same as mine or worse. I think I learned a bunch in the honors courses I took here the most. If you try to be average and blend in you will. I was prepared for my career with all the great science projects I was able to produce and the exciting history classes I took. This school needs to have more electives thou, I'll agree there, and it needs to have smaller class sizes.

If you're an average student here, good luck getting noticed. I've been at Northbridge for two years now, and my teachers that I have, most of them don't even remember my name. But alot of the staff members are nice. I can't complain there. The courses have not met my expectations. I really haven't had a chance to pick out my electives. Thanks alot, Northbridge, thanks for helping my career choice, that's why I'm transferring.
