The school is good for general education but is below average in special education teaching. This is why i give it an average score.
My children both attend this school...I attened in the 60's...loved it then and love it now.....teachers are the best and always take care of my childrens needs.
Based on our experience of having two children from K-5 who them moved on to the Norwood Middle school, we have been very pleased. Both children received 1st honors on their first report card at the Middle School. This indicates to us that the Balch did a fine job preparing our children. Our (paents nd children) expreience at the Balch was very positive and we would recommend this school without reservation.
