The Donovan is a great school. The teachers are wonderful. My son is in the first grade and is doing very well. There could be more parent involvement, but there is only so much you can do to engage them. The parents that are involved are a huge asset to the Donovan community.

I think this school is doing much better and I find that they are very informative on how your child is doing and really do want to help in all ways they can. I am sad that there have been so many budget cuts causing the school to have to cut certain important elements. I find the teachers to be wonderful and the principal to be very understanding. I think this school could be great with proper funding

My daughter is entering her last year at this school and has done very well every year. She has been on the honor roll several times and has thrived here. My other two daughters also attended and I never had a probelm with them either out of the surrounding elementary schools I would prefer the Donovan to any of them.

I am VERY disappointed in the Randolph school system. There is definitely a HUGE lack in communication. The teachers will either push your child along or simply fail them. They do not provide progress reports! I'm very disgusted, I'm new to the town and I took my child out of a very good school system. I even went to the extreme of sending the superintendent a certified letter w/ return receipt discussing my dissatisfaction and asked that he contact me and no response. I gave my email, office #, home # and cell and no return. I feel this is just total disgrace. The teachers do not return phone calls or emails, I even signed my child's homework journal (which is suppose to be checked daily) asking the teacher to contact me and nothing.

I believe that the standard of my daughter's school is very high. The school exemplifies creativity in both the arts and writing. They promote parental involvement from the classroom, to PTO, to school events. She has an extensive vocabulary due to the spelling curriculum. The school held events to promote activities based on questions from MCAS tests and encouraged parents to participate so we would have understanding and be able to help our child with this.
