My daughter (2nd. grade) enjoys the school immensely. Her teachers have been very good and dedicated from my perspective. There's lots of innovation and adaptation to local environment and culture (island) in the curriculum they've forged. I recommend it without qualification.
The West Tisbury school provides a caring, supportive atmosphere for learning. The teachers and staff are highly accomplished in their areas of expertise. Our eighth graders move on to a regional high school where they join students from four other towns. Here, they excel in their studies and extra-curricular activities and are well-represented in the top ten of their respective classes, frequently holding the spot of valedictorian or salutatorian. We are very proud of our West Tisbury Elementary School.
