I went to Annie E False about ten years ago. I still remember that i simply had the time of my life!! the specials are phenominal and so much fun for the students. This school is particularly geared toward students with special needs. while i my self do not have any, i noticed first handedly about how well the aids were able to work with the students. the three students of my class were well behaved. the music program starts fantstically giving the students opprotunity to begin any of 3 string instruments. although i realize diversity is a plus in many schools, this elementary contains students of almost identical ethnic and financial background. some parents prefer their children to be exposed to different cultures but my parents however decided that that would be best handeled when in fourth grde and the three school's students converge. overall fantastic school, although i was light heartedly teased for going to "Fails". :)
This school has the best teachers and staff! The principal is caring and always available to help you with any issues you may have. The class sizes are small and the teachers are the best I have met in my life. If your child has special needs this school is the best there is for helping your child get all the services they need. I can't think of any better public school.
This school is great. I loved it here! THe grades are small, about 100 people each, and I could name everyone in my grade. Classrooms are gorgeous and the teachers are incredible. One unique thing about Fales is the mentor fair, where parents and other adults make groups mentoring students in a specific topic ranging from book clubs (we got to meet Andrew Clemets!) to a newspaper. Everyone gets special attention and feels welcome.
Best of everything! Teachers, staff and parents...
This school has great teachers and it provides great education for the students.
This school is everything I would want in an elementary school. It is wonderfully small, but not too small! The teachers all are welcoming and work hard to know the parents and siblings as well as their direct student. It is very easy to get involved as a working parent - and they have an excellent parent group who do a great deal for the school The principal is open to parent input, but a strong leader who does not let individual interest groups sway her decision making...it's always for the good of the students. The reading assistance and special education teachers are wonderful and go over and above expectations in helping the kids. Teacher to parent communication, for the most part, is excellent.
