Allegan Alternative High School

I love this school. It has had such an amazing impact on my life. I love the teachers, staff, and most of the students who go there. I wouldn't switch to the regular high school for anything!! Allegan Alternative has given me a second chance at the way I look at high school. The classes are amazing and I feel like I belong there.

I went to this school for about a year my junior year. And it was the best school ive ever been to. They have great teachers that help you and will set there with you till you understand the work...They are respectful, kind, caring, and all together its the best school i have ever been to. And ive been to plenty of school in my life. They are very understanding and reasonable as long as it helps the student. I recomend this school to anyone who has a child that isnt getting along good in a traditional highschool. Its an amazing school full of great people.

I am a parent of 2 sons who completed their education at Allegan Alternative High School. I can't tell you how happy and proud I am of having this school in our District! The Principal, couselors and teachers are truely interested, working at times,one on one, with the parents/students on their academic and social interactions both in school and in their life outside of school! The teachers will do everything in their power to see that the kids have the support, time, and rescources to make themselves a success. They build self esteem in the students, and work on building the students strentghs, in their desires of becomming whatever their dreams desire to be, the sky is the limit. I would advise parents/students having any problems in the Allegan HS to visit Allegan Alternative HS, the diffrence is clear from the first visit.
