My child is in the AP program at the school. The teachers and staff are great. We get text and voicemail msgs from teh proncipal with updates about the school and regular e-mails from our child's teacher with updates on progress in the classroom. There is a monthly parents meeting and quarterly mettings with staff. They are all dedicticated to the children and the education. Lots of interation between home and school, updated electronics in the classrooms, foreign language, music and art every week.
Washington has a caring staff, great volunteers, and students who come to school ready to learn. It is a true FAMILY environment.
My son started there last year, in third grade... He seems to like it, and he has excelled very good... There is a new principal and some new staff, but they have all embraced Washington to continue it's great care for the children...
I have had children going to Washington since 1990 and I feel it is a great school. Very child friendly. The whole staff is wonderful.
Principal and staff are better then any in the district.
