This school is fantastic. It has an exciting and engaging curriculum that has kept both of my children engaged. The staff members are very professional. All of my children's teachers have worked with us to make sure the children are working on any problem areas and keeping them challenged. A school doesn't exist in a vaccuum, and this one is placed in a neighborhood with caring and engaged parents. Parent volunteers work with the staff to help out on a weekly basis, and there is a strong PTO and scouting program as well. If you have a choice, send your child here to go to school.
I am a student at this school and everything's great about it! This year they are trying to add iPads for learning reasons. The school's got a pretty big library and in the morning a news broadcast type of thing.
Workman continues to offer a quality education. I had originally planned to have my daughter only attend public school through grade two, but now plan to continue her at Workman for grade three.
My kids love going to this school. I am a very proud Workman parent. The teachers and staff are outstanding.
Workman Elementary is a wonderful learning environment! My children love to go to school each day. Dr. Burt takes great care in student/teacher placement and has personally called me when placing my child. For the past four years I have had one excellent teacher after another. I don't think that you can go wrong teacher-wise in this school - I feel as though they are a hand picked team. Unfortunately we are moving out of state - but I want all of those reading this site in search of a school - to know that this one is a winner. I would recommend it without reservation.
I love this school! I cannot say enough about Dr. Burt, he is a fabulous principal! He is very involved and concerned about the students and their families and the community. All of the teachers that my children have had have been first rate.
The school principal and teachers did an exceptional job pulling together the kids from all of the other schools that came to Workman for this first year. At the beginning of the year there were Miller kids, Hulsing kids Dodson kids, Gallimore kids.... and now they are all Workman kids... Everyone is looking forward to the fall and another even better year.
