Eaton Academy is not to bad of a school, but it does have it's down fall such as any other schools. What I truely don't like is the lack of communication from the teachers. You can never get a meeting with the principal, He is either never there or busy. As one parent stated in a 2008 comment their child received low grades because of missing assignments. It's 2011 and the same thing is still happening. One of my children went from National Honor Society to a 2.4, due to missing assignments. One teacher told my child she is not there to teach but to provide information, and this was a math class. Where are they finding these teachers. My high school child has had at least 5 english teachers in one school year. There are no extracurriculum activities for the students. Only sports is basketball and cheer. Due to these public schools closing, these charter schools have to step it up and offer more things for our kids to be involved. I have a child that will be graduating this year, and 3 other that will be returning. I am willing to give Eaton Academy one more year. I'm just hoping they make some major changes.

Do not send your child to this school it want to deal with teachers with bad attitudes and a school that has no languages, and no extracurricular activities. This is the honest truth. Sadly important issues do not get resolved just overlooked. T

the special education department for the high school is not really good, they do not offer a lot of help, and they do not have a lot of extra activities. The high school teacher are not helpful, so if you have a child who is not good with their academics, please do not send them to this school, they will not receive the help they deserve, you might as well send them to a public school. my 9th grade student had two math classes and no gym, no music, no elective class.

This is my child's first year at this school and the communication skills with the teacher is very low. The principal is not really involved with the elementary students. I have tried several times to have conference with the teacher regarding my childs progress and she always say she is unavailable. I think the need more help over there, they only have one teacher for each grade.

I have to say that the teachers at Eaton Academy are VERY dedicated to our students' success and education! This is not only a career, but it has to be a passion, and it surely is for us! We work with some wonderful students and parents and make a great team. It is crucial for parents to reinforce what we teach at home and we are fortunate that MOST of our parents do this. I don't know what the elementary teachers would do without Mrs. Knierim (Mrs. K.) and her support, guidance, and wisdom! We are so lucky to have you.

My 2nd grader has been going to Eaton since Kindergarten. She loves going and the children all seem well behaved and polite so far. All of her teachers so far have been very good, Ms Trombley, Ms Saelens and now Ms Schefke. They are all good and caring teachers. I have had nothing but good experiences so far the last 3 years.

Eaton Academy has given my son the chance to learn and grow, his old school was full of violence and negative influences. Eaton seems to have a more diverse thing going on and I love it, so does my teenage son.!!
