Grandville Christian School

I love GCS! I have 3 kids attending GCS and I love it! We are so blessed to have the privledge of knowing and meeting the staff. Mr Steenstra is amazing, he know each child by name and the parents and even the grandparents by name. My kids have learned so much about God here and GCS ha sbeen a part of their walk with christ! We love GCS and reccomend it to everyone.

The Grandville Christian School curriculum includes the core areas of Bible, math, language arts, social studies and science. Non-core areas of study included in the curriculum are art, music, technology, physical education, and Spanish. Instructional lessons in the subject areas follow a carefully crafted sequential academic plan. All studies are taught from a Christian perspective. Woven into the day-to-day academic fabric of Grandville Christian School, are the principles and practices of Schools Attuned to All Kinds of Minds, a philosophy of educational care crafted to meet the needs of a diverse population of learners. GCS exhibits an unwavering commitment to manage the hearts and minds of all students, recognizing each child as a unique creation of almighty God. To treat everyone the same is to treat them unequally, so instruction is differentiated in the general classrooms. The school also offers educational support services for students with exceptional strengths and/or weaknesses in specific skill or content areas. A cross-cultural partnership with the Reverend Murupus Academy in Kapenguria, Kenya is another key component that permeates the educational program at Grandville Christian School. Students and staff from each school are partnered with each other to collaborate in learning. The two school communities are learning that Christ s Kingdom extends across a big, big world as we build global understanding and cultivate relationships literally halfway across the globe. Our goal is that students come to know God and understand his world.

Grandville Christian Elementary is the BEST school around. I have two children who have been blessed by attending GCS. The teachers care about each and every child. The office staff knows my kids by name. Our principal knows each child, our family and is extremely committed to making sure our children (and all of the students) are given an exceptional experience and education. My kids love attending the school and we (parents) look forward to any time we get to visit....it brightens our day!

This school is amazing! My child is in Kindergarten and recites Bible verses, learns new songs every week that I remember learning in 4th grade. Her teacher is so kind and patient she LOVES going every day. The teachers who are there sincerely love your children!

Grandville Christian School offers an excellent academic education. They have strong programs in place to meet the needs of every student, those who struggle and those who need additional challenges. The teachers care about each student and the admistrative staff is amazing and knows each child by name. This is a school where Christ's love is taught and lived out.
