I went to Hemlock from 2nd to 8th grade. It is a great school system despite problems with a teacher or two. They really push reading and writing skills, and the 300 someting student body is especially nice. In 2008, I tranferred to White Pine Middle School, and I can honestly say it is not the same. I always thought that I was going to graduate at Hemlock with my friends, but life changes every day.

Our children have been in this school system for 6 and 7 years respectively. The educational system in Hemlock, both Ling and Middle Schools is the absolute best we have known. The children are eager to go to school, are encouraged to excel (and they do) and are learning. Something that is not absolutely guaranteed in today's educational system. We have always been extremely pleased. Occasionally one of the children has a teacher they are not fond of, but in the end, the teacher usually does a great job. The secret is whether or not the child has failed or learned.
