This school is one of the best alternitive schools in our distric, sadly due to budget cuts, they are no longer going to be able to offer adult education and daycare for the students whom are parents, next school year. They also are no longer going to be able to give all students free lunch, once agien due to budget cuts. This school is wounderful for students whom don't fit into the 'normal' high school setting, and allows them to work at their own pace within limits, they do have a certain amout of work they must do in order to stay attending this school. You also are allowed to perticipate in anything that the high school does. Its sad to see these programs go, they've helped so many people all ready.
If your child has a hard time 'fitting in' in traditional schools, this is the school for them! Each student works independently at their own pace, and the teachers are great! I loved this school. I truly felt that the teachers cared about me and my future!
