I don't know where the 'parent' on April 13 is coming from at all! My child does a wonderful job at NSA! As for the overcrowding, this year is a temporary situation. Next school year a BRAND NEW school is going to house the students. Every time I've been to the school I'm welcomed and the students are happy. The meals are all homemade from scratch, not processed food. Yes, hot meals are served. There are 3 lunch choices daily! My child is very happy with the smaller class sizes and the caring teachers. This school is highly recommended!

This school challenged me far more than MAPS schools, and I didn't feel like I was doing busywork every day.

I've never fit in better in a school before. We get to call all of our teachers by their first name, which makes them seem more human. We can actually talk to our teachers, like just chatting, and theres no pressure, no intimidation. There are so many rumors that we have to put up with-- 'NSA is a school for drug dealers, high school drop outs, and losers' NSA is just like every other school. If you don't think that there are any drug dealers at the others schools you need to open your eyes. The majority of my fellow peers are really smart. We do our homework(yes, the rumor of no homework isn't true.) we study for tests, and we explore our creative side. I love this school. Prior to going to NSA, I never did homework, went to school..As of now I'm getting A's in all of my classes.
