This school is ok. In 7th grade Team A is terrible this year. We get in lots of trouble. Kids bring liters, and b-b's. Now we have only 2 minute breaks. Thats not enough time to do anything. So this schoo is okay! =/

I went to Jefferson 25 years ago. I have two children one of which has graduated and the other is presently attending Jefferson Middle School. I believe we have many good teachers at the middle school. I also believe it isn't all about money. I know for a fact that the teachers have not had a raise in almost 6 years and the first two years of this no pay increase they gave back 1 1/2% each year. The teachers do not have a say in what classes stay and go. They can only do the best they can with what they have to work with. I also was very disappointed with the cut backs of classes offered but the teachers are not the ones to blame for this. Lets look at all districts having finacial difficulties. We all need to support education lets face it these kids are our future.

Jefferson schools have gone down hill fast! The Administration is a political nightmare. If you kid is hurt, good luck on getting a call! I would not send my dog to Jefferson schools. Disgusted is not even the word! There are some great teachers, Arnold and Mariano, Griffin, Golden. They deserve an award just for putting up with what goes on. Teachers and Administration should be working for the students education and be less worried about their salaries and insurances. Money, Money, is all they want. Our children deserve a quality, positive education. Other districts do more with less funds! Lets see what the Superintendent can come up with next.

I am a very concerned parent, I graduated from Jefferson almost 25 years ago. Now I have 2 children in this school and 2 getting ready to start. I can for say that they wont be going to Jefferson next year. This school has went down hill. My middle child is in the middle school and I have had nothing but trouble. They do not care about the students at all. I have contacted the acting superintendent about many issues and from what I know nothing has been done. Very disappointing, we may live in the district but next year my kids will not be going to this district. Sorry, get your stuff together Jefferson Schools.

I am a graduate from Jefferson. I am very displeased with the Middle School. All the advance classes has been eliminated. I refuse for her to continue at Jefferson and registered her in a different school. Because of lack of parent participation and funding, the teachers are giving up on the students. Transportation has been eliminated for all 7th - 12th grade. Not one parent went to the school board meeting to contest this. Jefferson wants the parents to feel the pain of not passing the mileage. What about the kids?

my daughter has gone to this school for all 3 years. It's a great school. The sports are great and the kids know what they are doing. However, drugs are a big problem in the school. The teachers could do better but the size of classes keep growing. There isn't much the parents can do to help but I think the school is pretty good.
