I am very pleased with how this whole school district is run. I really believe that all the parents, teachers, students and members of the community care about the school and students.

Our school is rated in the top 2% in Michigan for education! Although we are a small in size we are big at heart. Our parents and teachers have high expectations and goals for all kids and do everything we can in and out of school to help them reach those goals regardless of skill level. We meet them where they are at.

This school truly cares about the whole child. NM makes a conscience effort to communicate to parents through weekly Norse News. Students feel they are well known by each staff person throughout their school years. Alumni feel welcomed back and appreciated. This small school makes a difference!

A wonderful environment for college prep learning. Very friendly students, staff and parents. MEAP test results are great. The small school environment helps prevent a shy student from avoiding participation in school activities. Facilities are well maintained.

School is good, but keep in mind that this is a very cloistered environment, there is very little diversity at doesn't represent the real world found in college environment. Sports programs are good but conference doesn't provide much competition. Kids come from very very wealthy/affluent or blue collar/mid income families...socially difficult if you don't fit into the 'right clique'. Very good tradition, facilities need upgrading.
