My son is a 4th grader at Einstein . He loves the school and he's on the Basketball Team. I can say I enjoy the presence of Mr. Church as well as Ms. Banks in the morning with their Welcoming each and every student in the morning. During the times of trials and tribulations of the economy that are very present. It's the staff and the support of one of the BEST Schools in Michigan that cares for their STUDENTS!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! GO EAGLES -Ms. Myers

This year my child is a 5th grader at Einstein. She has learned to build a web page, her vocabulary is extraordinary!! The curriculum at Einstein is superb. The staff is very professional. The after school programs include chess, cheer-leading and basketball. The school's enrollment is diverse. Einstein has a.m. and p.m. latchkey that accommodates just about any schedule. The Principal, Mr. Church is excellent with the children! All the children love him. There are over 500 students and he manages to know their names! I only wish the school went up to 6th grade. I would definitely recommend this school!!!

I think that the cirruculum is great. It challenges the student to put it best foot forward. Some of the staff members are cold. My son thinks that the school is okay. I just think that they need a better system for children who has to be dropped off by 8am.

Mr. Washington, Mr. Hurt the entire Einsten Staff are remarkable. Mr. Washington along with Mr. Hurt knows each and every student along with knowing their parent(s). Einstein offers quality education and safety for the children. I recommend this school to anyone seeking Leadership, Quality Education, Safety and Discipline. It is hard finding a school with such quality, I am going to hate to see my child leave Mrs. Reed (Maurice Reed).

To all the parents that are looking for a school that provides top education as well as safetey, this is the right choice. The staff is wonderful, from the office to the janitor and not to mention the teachers who take there time with the kids, and the class size is small and that means alot when your looking for a top school in MI. And before I end Mr.Washington and his asst.Mr. Hurt are the best they know all their students first and last name as well as there parents, that means so much to me as a concerned parent of three of which all attend and are doing very well.

Mr. Washington and his staff are the prime example of leadership I recommend this school to any parent that is sincerely concerned about their child/(rens) education this they give support 110%. The class size, the positive environment, the discipline and respect of each other is one of the many reason that I have my children enrolled there. Thank you Einstein Staff a Happy Parent!!

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Michigan used the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading and writing; in grades 5 and 8 in science; and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies. The MEAP is a standards-based test, which measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Michigan. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year, the Michigan State Board of Education implemented new definitions of what it means to be proficient on the MEAP test. The new standards for proficiency are higher than in previous years and the percent of students earning a proficient score is expected to be lower as a result of this change.
