As a parent I have not been real impressed with this school. I agree with the other poster that the principal is nothing special. The school seems like its been through a few assistant principals in recent years. Drugs and violence are prevalent...though I think they are at most middle/high schools. Teacher quality isn't the greatest. You find one really good one out of maybe four teachers. With all of that said, my daughter seems to like it...though it's all she knows.
The principal is incompetent. She was probably hired because she was friends with or related to the right people like too many other Rockford teachers.
