hi, obviously you are thinking about my school! some high points about my school is the princapal is really cool, same with the teachers. the teachers are always fun and try to put learning in a funner way. well, if you like boring, dull schools whitehall is not for you. if you want your kids to have lots of friends(like most moms), then you might want your kids to be enrolled in this one. the classes.... well, band is outstanding! they have a huge variety of instruments for your kids to try out, and the band instructer only wants to help your kids succeed. the gym program is great since most of america is starting to get obeis. while most schools have a lacking excercise program ours is outstanding. the art program is a fun and creative way to let kids expresss who they are.for more please read on.

I believe that Whitehall District Schools are a very welcoming school district. The teachers, staff, janitors, principals, etc. are great! I have been going here my whole life, and I love it. The schools are well kept up, and this year we just got a brand new highschool. Whitehall's teachers are friendly and kind. The educational programs are good, also. They also have many educational trips you can go on, and the extra-cirricular activities are great. The sports are also good too. Enroll NOW! It's a GREAT school district.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Michigan used the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading and writing; in grades 5 and 8 in science; and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies. The MEAP is a standards-based test, which measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Michigan. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year, the Michigan State Board of Education implemented new definitions of what it means to be proficient on the MEAP test. The new standards for proficiency are higher than in previous years and the percent of students earning a proficient score is expected to be lower as a result of this change.
