My son went to Parkview for 3 years and loved it! Unfortunately, we moved out of the area. It is hard to find another school that is great as Parkview. They have wonderful teachers and staff.

I have a child here because Huntington Woods closed. I was apprehensive at first, but learned that Andrea van der Laan (our principal at HWDS) was going to be Parkview's new principal. Very diverse culture, wonderful staff, and a few great parent volunteers. My child has excelled in 3rd grade with Mrs. C...thanks! The only thing missing is a Spanish immersion class...would love to see the children teaching each other!

I worked as a staff member in Parkview Elementary for two years. This school well run by principal Jesus Hernandez, who invests a lot of extra time. Parkview offers credible caring staff, diverse culture, excellent well-kept and up-to-date facilities (including technology), ESL Learning Program, an award winning after-school program run by Courtney Stevens through the Wyoming Parks and Recreation Dept, and Kid's Hope Mentoring Program. Parent involvement is the only piece that could be better at Parkview. Many parent low-income families and unable to volunteer to due other employment commitments. This school excels at having a safe environment. MiBlissy discipline/reward curriculum is used at Parkview to ensure that negative/unsafe behavior is taken seriously and positive behavior is constantly noticed and rewarded by all staff. This positive reinforcement system has helped Parkview model and encourage positive behavior for students resulting in successes.
