I love my school very much, and I think it's great! I am in the 5th grade. Hey parents, if you're looking for a school, come to this one!

My son has attended Diamond Path since kindergarten- he is a 4th grader now. We love it! He has had awesome supportive teachers every year. We have never had any big issues there and any small ones were addressed and 'fixed' in a timely manner. Also, he has the opportunity to learn a foreign language because it is a magnet school. He has loved learning Chinese as well as learning about the culture.

My child's experience at Diamond Path was not very good. There are caring teachers; however, I feel that the school's status as a Magnet school greatly diminished from the overall learning. The school is still, for the most part, an 'open-air' school with few classrooms. With the 'rotating' between the various language classes and other specialists, the children are distracted. Many parents are disatisfied with the school and the staff. There are good staff members; however, myself and other parents believe that they are not focused properly by the principal. On top of the 'classrooms' being open (no walls...a partion or two only), the classrooms are very small. The children in most classrooms sit at tables similar to those used in kindergarten classes...which is disruptive to the learning enviornment. Enroll your child in Scott Highlands if you have a choice.

This is such a great school. Teachers are fantastic! This school involves parents in their child's education. They make you feel like it is a team effort! Art, music, and even gym classes provide an outlet for amazing creativity. It is now a School of International Studies so the kids are learning about global issues and also learning to speak Chinese or Spanish. They also have a fabulous gifted program. I also agree with everything the previous person wrote on their review.

My child's experience at this elementary school has been excellent. The teachers are creative, caring and intelligent. There is a strong parent volunteer community which serves as a model for the students. The principal makes it a priority to know all of the students and their families. I'm fortunate to have found such a wonderful learning environment for my son.
