KOG is a great school. The emphasis on education as well as a good Christian life is fantastic. All of the teachers know all of the kids in the school. Principal Labitsky is the best.

I listen to my friends complain about their children's schools and I'm amazed at what other families are putting up with in their kids' learning environment! When I suggest that they consider KOG, they assume it isn't financially possible--but are pleasantly surprised by the value. Private doesn't equal pricey! The teachers are great. The principal is fantastic. KOG is big enough to offer sports, drama, art, music, and many school traditions, yet small enough that the teachers get to know each child as an individual. Come for the academics. Stay for the community.

I love this school! All of the teachers and staff are very invested in all of the students. It os a very loving environment where the kids truly care for each other. The students are challenged by the curriculum but have extra help when neesed. The small class sizes allow the teachers additional time with each child. This school is amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone!

We have many choices in the Robbinsdale school district but as my daughter completes her first year at King of Grace we are confident we made the right choice. The principal and teachers are very passionate, the communication is good and she has enjoyed the after school activities. My daughter has learned so much this year and made great friends.

We couldn't be happier with King of Grace. Living in a metropolitan areas this school provides the close knit environment we were looking for. We know the teachers and parents of our children's classmates. Choosing a school for your children is a tough decision, but I've never regretted our choice to send our children to King of Grace. Our once shy child has fourished in the environment they provide. Love, love, love this school! Some key things to note: the teachers visit your home prior to the start of every school year, they hold an academic fair each January, they continuously score higher than most school on standardized tests, in kindergarten there is a field trip a month - which is great for hand-ons learning. We have a 6th grader and a 4th grader and absolutely LOVE King of Grace! The class sizes are wonderful! The longevity of the teaching staff and administration is impressive (little to no turnover). The price is right for a private school!

Small class size, awesome teachers, fabulous principal --simply PERFECT!!! My daughter who is now a sophomore in high school thrived at King of Grace. My youngest is a 7th grader and is also top of her class. It is a great learning environment and a wonderful school. Not as expensive as many of the other private schools in the area. :)

King of Grace is a small Lutheran school that excels in teaching kids not just the core classes but in teaching and guiding children in how to live a Christian life. The teachers are simply amazing, they truly care for each and every student. The teachers attention to each student results in positive relationships which in turn result in a positive learning environment.

Love this school!! My son was new to school in the eighth grade at King Of Grace. He loves it! The teachers and Principal are wonderful. I wish he could stay a few more years. We moved from another city where we attended a very expensive college prep school. King of grace has been a blessing to us with academics, Christians values and other activities. The kids are so relaxed here and very happy!

This is my son's sixth year attending King of Grace. We as a family could not be happier with this school. Our son looks forward to going to school each day. They have very small class sizes. The staff show so much enthusiasm in their teaching. The kids are held to very high learning standards. Lots of social activites, sports and field trips for the kids to enjoy. We looked for the school with the best education for our son and we found it here at King of Grace.

As a teacher at King of Grace I truly enjoy the parents and students I work with daily. I've been teaching for over 10 years and student taught at a public school. This school has a safe, Christian learning environment. As a staff member I cannot remember a time when I heard this comment from another teacher "that isn't in my contract." We are always helping each other and supporting each others ideas and projects. My two boys are currently enrolled and they love it!

We came to King of Grace as transplants from a different school. Following the transition, our children have thrived. This school offers a hands-on learning environment that focuses on the love of Christ. I cannot thank the principal, teachers, and staff enough for helping us to transform our children into young people, ready and able to serve their God and other people both in the present and the future.

All three of our children attend King of Grace Lutheran School. They offer a great curriculum and many activities for kids outside of the classroom. The faculty and staff have been great to work with. We can't imagine our kids going anywhere else.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
