Wow, what a school. We moved to Minnesota a year ago and used this site to find our school district and home. We could live anywhere in the state, but choose this district due to the very high test scores and we love it. My kids not only know all of the teachers, but love the principle and all of the office staff. This school is like something out of a fairy tale. It is like you have gone back in time to an era where teachers and staff do the job because they love children and want to see each one succeed. The test scores are off the charts (forth grade math 100% on the state wide exam - how could an entire class score 100%? Only at Hilltop. It is the total combination of caring teachers, an awesome curriculum, and especially lots of love.

Hilltop has been a great experience for our family. Our daughter started second grade as a new student to the area. Her teacher worked very hard to make her feel welcome and help her develop new friendships. The school has so much to offer each and every child. The programs offer individualized attention and allowance for different paces and learning styles. Our daughter has excelled in many ways. We attribute this to the excellent year she had at Hilltop Elementary.

This school is like a family! Each child is challenged at their own ability level. Teachers get to know the students. Many of the teachers attend after school events of the kids in their classroom. I have worked in three different school districts and there is none like the Westonka District.
