I was a new student in the 05-06 school year. The students there were really nice and they don't judge you by your looks as soon as you walk in the door. A good percentage of them judge you on your personality. They are called the 'Monticello Magic' for a reason. The building is wonderful, I felt like I was in a castle fit for a princess, the students are nice, and the teachers are friendly.Everyone I know that has moved away really wants to go back to MHS. I have attended 7 schools in my life due to being in a military family and it is by far the greatest school i've ever been to. I truly had a 'magical' experience there.
