Too many children fall between the cracks. The ALC is an 'Alternative Learning Center' housed behind the middle school where these children end up..those that didn't quite fit in at the Middle school. A bullying program, mentoring program, programs that acutually facilitate learning and acceptance for these kids.

Need more student support for special needs and children with poor social skills. North Branch does not offer and continues to ignore those with social/economic backgrounds that are not always conducive to learning. The comfort level of these students suffer. The ALS Center doesn't meet needs of those needing support.
