Richfield Dual Language School. My granddaughter has completed K & 1st grade and just loves school. She seems to go effortlessly back and forth between English and Spanish. "Don't worry Nana, I will translate for you". The staff works together as a team to give a well rounded approach. Her 1st grade end of year report card was more detailed than her Mother's was for 12th grade. Very impressive.
Initially it was a noble idea. IT tried hard to achieve great results for its students. But sadly, it has fallen to the same old tired system which promotes excellence for a few, while relegating minority students to the back of the class. Not focused on achievement of minority students. Lacks passion, practice, and persistence when it comes to improving the scores of minority students. They are skilled at soundbite school politics but the results tell the tale.
