My child is not excelling in this school as I would like. Encouragement begins at home, but that is not enough in the life of a young student. He/she must be encouraged and pushed to succeed by their teachers and school staff as well. This school is poorly managed, unorganized, and DIRTY. Not all staff should be included in this poor rating, as there are surely some bright stars shining at this school. If not for a few amazing teachers and staff members, this school would cease to function. It is my hope that the upcoming charter school option will offer the children located in this district, a higher level of education.

My child has been attending this school for five years. I love the small town feel of the school. The office staff and principal are new, but they seem to only make it better. I read the reviews below and understand some of the frustration, but teachers need reinforcement from parents not parents wanting to take over. Good job teachers and thanks for your hard work!!!

This school could be a good school with new leadership. I pulled my child out of this school to homeschool and I am happy with my decision. We had several problems with. I am the type of parent that is very involved. If I smell trouble I am there. I am encourage my children daily and I am not the type that thinks that the school is the only person in charge of educating the child. However this school fails at so many things and fails the parents that try. Some very good teachers there, that don't deserve to be grouped into this. And I would also like to mention that the people in that office are the rudest people I have ever met. They have the worst attitudes. YOu get a can I help you from the back of someone's head. Good Riddens!

I have two children in this school. If you have a choice do not send your children here!! This school does not want parental involvement unless it is from your home. They don't want you at the school for any reason. This school does not like to hear of ways to improve or hear opinions that our not their own. the principal does not like to try to resolve things. Her way or nothing is her thoughts.
