East Central Lower Elementary School

I'm a single dad with a daughter in kindergarten and one more that will be there in 2 years. It's amazing to me the support my family has received with ECLE knowing our situation. From the teacher to the school bus driver, everyone is going the extra mile, selflessly. We moved to this area to get in this school district and I now understand why ECLE is desireable. My kindergartener is reading and writing on a first grade level thanks to the ECLE students.

The overall involvment of parents and teachers are wonderful. It really is all about the students even though I do wish that there was more help with funding as I am about tired of funding everything for everybody. Some parents are just unable to help furnish the extras for their children however much the other parents subsidize. It is a wonderful school but I wish more parents could try a little more.

We have 4 childrern at ECLE, ECUE and the middle school, and I have to say that I am very pleased with the quality of education that my children are recieving.

I view this school as a cocoon of love, support and energy. The teachers and staff offer the highest form of education on the gulf coast. The facilities are up to date and state of the art. Computers are in every classroom. The library, learning labs, gifted and learning disabled programs are extraordinary. No child is left out, all are fed the highest quality knowledge. The reading program is awesome! Parents are encouraged to be involved and they are! If you want honest, hard working teachers with good morals- park yourself right here!

ECLE is a warm and caring school. They exceed schools of this area with higher learning abilities. If you are thinking of moving your child to this school have no dought that this school is all about giving your child a good education. We have found that East Central children are one to two grade levels ahead of the surrounding schools.
