I love SES. I am a teacher assistant. I have worked here for 20 yrs. We have a wonderful staff at our school - from the principal down to the cafeteria workers. My children went to SES & graduated from SHS. They are grown now & have families of their own & plan to send their children to SES. I graduated from SHS in 1971.

I love SES. The education my children receive is not any less than what they received from the private school we transfered from last year.(I also have a middle schoolchild.) The principal is very involved and dedicated to the students! The fact that they have a no tolerance policy is one of the many thing I love about it. My child is safe and I do not have to worry. I have not ever seen where education was withheld, unless it is from suspension. yes, they will suspend even the 1st graders. They want to fight they can fight at home.

I did not have a good experience with this school. The school seems more interested in discipline than education, even witholding education as punishment. When a student is gifted and bored the faculty does not seem interested in helping that student grow, instead they look for ways to separate them out. I moved into the city to be in the school district because I was assured it was a good school, and I have to say I was extremely disappointed.

As a former student of Senatobia Elementary, I believe that the teachers are wonderful, the level of academic achievment is the best you can get, and the memories made shape your life.

I currently have two children attending Senatobia Elementary School. Education, discipline and safety are of the utmost importance at this school. The principal is very involved and interacts with the children on a daily basis ie, reads to a kindergarten class. Teachers here strive to find innovative, as well as, creative methods to teach the students. All of the schools in this district are spirited and support the atheletic teams 100%. The Senatobia police department is an active part of all the campuses and plays a huge roll in educating and protecting all children in town. Senatobia schools are known for academic excellence.
