I went to St. Clare from Pre-K on. I received an excellent education as well as a great background in my catechism. St. Clare is a great school, and is a wonderful place for children. I loved the school, the kids and even the teachers and Father Fannon. I am now in a Gifted school in Baton Rouge, about to receive my confirmation and I accredit this to my education at St. Clare and my middle school. I would recommend St. Clare for anyone seeking a safe and nice learning environment for their child. They have excellent facilities, a great church, way better food than other cafeterias. I loved St. Clare as a child and I'm sure it's still just as fun.
Excellent school. Very caring and the students are in an exceptional learning invironment. The school has high standards and teaches good values. I have been very pleased and highly recommend this school.
I think St Clare school offers one of the best educational opportunities for children on the MS Gulf Coast. I went to a similar school many years and 1200 miles away back when nuns still taught at Catholic school. My memories during that time are still vivid and almost all very positive. St Clare is about more than reading writing, and arithmetic. Catholic schools are anchored on sound life guiding principals like faith, respect and discipline which serves the children well into adult life. That does not excuse parental involvement which I consider the primary problem with our educational system in this country. The faculty at St Clares is very accessible and they communicate to parents daily on the progress of our children (good and bad) so there is no excuse for failure unless the parents choose not to get involved in their childs education.
This is a very excellent, small school. The tuition is very reasonable. The staff is top-notch. It is a special place for children whose parents want them to have a religious caring environment.
