My granddaughter attends here and I was very impressed with her Kindergarten year and academic success.

I have one word for this school, FAMILY. We were new to the district in 2003 and had a hard transition. The staff and parents at Plattin Primary are some of the most caring I have ever met. I am a Festus Grad and we moved from there when my son entered 1st grade. I have 3 kids in the district and wouldn't have them anywhere else. Parental involvement is Top-Notch! All of my children are excelling well beyond their grade level, due mostly to programs such as Title 1 Reading. Class sizes are small so you have wonderful interaction between teacher and students. If your looking for a small school atmosphere with outstanding results, you will find it a Plattin Primary! My children are thriving and I love it!

I transferred my son from a Florida school, during his Kindergarten year. When we arrived my son loved his new school and his new teacher. The whole school knew him and when we were told my husband was to be stationed overseas, they let us know how much he would be missed. So a month into his 1st Grade year, we left and he told them he will come back as soon as he could. The teachers and office personel are wonderful. Very caring and helpful. I feel real bad that I had to take my son away. We do plan on returning to the district when my husbands time in the Navy is done.
