The academic programs at South Callaway are superb. Many extracurricular activities (such as band, Quiz Bowl, Student Council, and various clubs) are available for all interest levels, and the sports programs are exceptional. Just because South Callaway is a small school does not mean that the level of education decreases. There is one major advantage to a smaller school system - the teachers have a deeper connection with the students. In a school with 1,000 people in ANY GRADE, the teachers cannot be expected to know each student personally, but by having 80-100 students per grade level, the teachers can know more about the students and tailor their lessons to tend to the students needs. One of the best schools that I have ever seen!

I have had 2 daughters graduate from this school district. Both went on to Higher education and have become very responsible adults. I now have a son in Middle School. This is a wonderful school. We do have sports teams, but celebrate other interests as well. The teachers, administrators and volunteers are the best.
