My son went to school here for several years. He really enjoyed it and we were impressed with the faculty and staff at the time. I have nothing but nice things to say about the teachers; they are very supportive and seem as if they truly do care about every single child. The current principal is an amazing leader and it is evident that she uses the Love and Logic approach with the children. However, we have since moved to a different state and have discovered that educationally, he is behind for his grade, despite the fact that he received A's and B's while he was at Ozark North. Upon receiving his MAP scores and comparing them to his grades, we believe that he was a victim of grade inflation at North Elementary and now we are suffering the consequences.

Ozark North Elem. is a great school! The teacher's are hard working, skilled and extend so much care in their teaching. There is lower and upper economic class students...as well as religious extremeties. The school seems to blend them all together very well and make them all feel welcome in their own way. The principal runs a 'tight ship' but is always there to listen and is very personable with the children. The school has lagged behind a little in their playground equipment but is quickly catching up! They have active parent participation through volunteer programs and PTA. I would like to see this school offer some extra curricular clubs for students ex: Earth Club, Drama Club, Art Club, etc
