great school. great students. bottomline.
Rolla High School has the distinction of being a Blue Ribbon School -- but only for achievers. They like to keep their Special Education students out of sight and isolated from the 'normal' students. Their Spec. Ed. teachers and director set low goals.
This school does not integrate and promote tolerance of diversity among its students. There are some excellent teachers there but the infrastructure of the building is in decay..except for the glorious sports fields. They have plays and music concerts in the dilapilated gym or borrow the middle schools auditorium. The principal does not listen or embrace ideas for change.
