Your children will be miserable, bullied ,and led by a deceitful principal. She is a wolf in Sheep clothing!

Please do not enroll your child in this school. For the amount of tuition and many times during the year they have their hands out you would think it would be remarkable. The books that the children are given are so old and over used. The spines are breaking apart and pages are missing. There is no air conditioning except in the principals office (of course she has to be nice and cool to do nothing all day) The lower grades (prek 3-k) are poorly supervised. They are sent to the bathroom alone in large groups because the teacher is to old to look after them. There are far better Lutheran schools in st.louis. I removed my child and despite the hike in tuition i am overly satisfied. You get what you pay far and River Roads is a rip off. I was better off home schooling my child. Things that I have taught my child (adding, subtracting, sight words, READING!!) they have yet to introduce. It's a severely over priced day care. shop around I would even consider public school before I recommend this school to anyone. Their curriculum sucks.

I would not recommend River Roads Lutheran School. They do not have the resources to help your child. They only have four teachers in the whole building. These teachers are teaching four to five subjects a piece. Look on the web-site you can veiw it for yourself. There web-site is false. Your child will not be two grades ahead. My child were two grades behind. They offer lots of programs, but cannot follow through because of low staff and money. There is only 80 studentsPK-8 grades in the whole school. Your child academics will suffer because the materials and books are outdated. They charge you computer fee, but the computer are old and outdated. There tuition is the same as otherLutheran school's tuition that offer better resources, technology, materials and updated books. Shop around before considering this school.

RiverRoads Lutheran School is a great school for building character and establishing Christian values, but lack in overall academic achievement.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
