Webb City High School

Webb City High School does a great job of getting just about everyone involved. There are very few students that aren't involved in something, and while there may be the standard cliques, they don't seem to be that strong. In the end, the community comes out to support the band almost as vigorously as they support the football team. There is an imbalance in the way the football players are treated compared to others, almost to the point that the football players will get a little snobby about it, but they are good. Real good. So to a certain extent, they deserve it. Academics are also taken very seriously at WCHS, with plenty of support for exceptional kids at either end of the spectrum. I do wish that the practice of detention when work isn't completed that was present in the Webb City Junior High would have continued in WCHS.

I attended WCHS all four years of high school and I believe that this school is the best school in the area. The faculity and staff are so involved in ever aspect of your childs education. They are very strict but that is a good thing. They not only have excellent education, but they also strive to prepare children for life after highschool. I am planning for my children to attend Webb City Schools I only want the best for them and Webb City is the BEST!

I loved the Webb City school system. They provided excellent staff , and a great atmosphere! The teachers alwalys took the time to get ot know that sutdents. Webb provides both academics and athletics. I you highly reccomend this school to anyone.

Both of my children have attended WC schools from K----- I have a daughter that graduated this last spring 2009 my son is going to be a sophmore. Webb City is an excellant school system. We have truly loved each school they have attended. Most of the staff truly do care and have the child's enterest at heart. Anouther Asome thing about WC is the superentindent. He learns who you are and gets to know all the children personaly. Dr. Lankford runs our school system very well he is a very wise man and just a all around great guy.

Our school superintendent is very financially wise- we never have to worry about how the money is spent. Taxes are reasonable and decisions are ALWAYS made with careful consideration. I am very proud of the way the money at Webb City Schools is spent- or not spent!!

I am currently a student here and i must say that the quality of the teachers is just outstanding i have a few friends that go to other schools and i have heard horror stories about stuff that goes on there (none of which i will go into detail about) but at our school very little to none of that stuff goes on and if it does the faculty are very quick to deal with it i think that there isn't a better school system in this part of the state.

I am currently a student at WCHS, and it is a great school with amazing teachers. I can't imagine going anywhere else because our entire district has such a good program.

I went to school here all 4 yrs of high school and i was very pleased with it. Although the teachers and principals are alot strickter here then they are at other schools in the area... I like to think of that as a good thing.

All three of my children attended or our attending the school system in Webb City. The school system is designed for any student to excel in education and sports. The administration is very proactive in developing an aggressive program to provide a safe place learning. The communication line between the school and the townfolk is alway open therefore the towm is very active in all the school's activities. As aq parent, I have always felt I could go and talk to any of the administors or coaches face-to-face. Review the results of the school's ratings and success in the sports program to see why this is a wonderful place to raise our children.
