Principal Dixon is the best! While our leaders need to watch their grammar, they are doing an excellent job of teaching respect. Our school secretary works hard and has a great personality. Artwork is displayed proudly and can be viewed online. We enjoy free musical performances each year. The children enjoy fun, educational field trips.

After 2 years with the district, I have been very pleased with the education my children have received.

My experience has only been with the title 1 preschool so far, but for an area dealing with lower income than most in the area, the school does their best with what they have. The bottom line is while school is important, how involved the parents are directly affects the benefits a child gets from his education.

i am a senior at Winfield High school. As a member of the Winfield National Honor Society chapter, i have spent some time at the intermediate school to help the teachers out during special events. This truly is an awesome school. I mean all schools have their problems, but this school seriously knows how to connect with kids. the teachers are all very friendly and teach the children well...good work Winfield!

I love this school. I think the teachers do a great job with the students and keep the parents who want to be involved very up to date with what's going on. I disagree strongly with Chris Wilson's comment about the teachers taking no responsibility. That is so far from the truth. Teachers can only do so much and the parents need to help out a little more. Parents in this school district seem to be getting more involved than in recent years but I see room for improvement. I appreciate what the teachers have done for my son and would like to say 'Thank You' and keep up the good work. -Lisa Walcott

I have a child in special ed at winfield school. He is 5 yrs old. I could'nt be happier with the special ed there. I know there has been trouble in the past with the special ed program. That is probably true of any school, but I really think they are making alot of progress in this area. I stop by the school quite often and I am always pleased with what I see. They keep me very informed and are really great with him.

This school has no provisions for students with learning disabilities or ADHD/ADD. Also, the teachers put all the responsibilities of our childs education on the parents, they do not accept any responsibility. For example; when progress reports are handed out, they are supposed to be signed by the parents and returned to school, the problem is-there is no consiquence if the report is not turned back in. The teachers don't do anything if the progress report is not turned back in. There is also bribery going on, the teachers reward students for telling on their classmates with extra points and passing grades. I had this proven in court. This is an extremely bad school and we are trying to move away from this school district.
