Laurel High School lacks in many areas. Things that shouldn't be taught are, and the things that should be taught aren't. Someone one needs to rethink the curriculum.

There is a well developed extra curricular schedule. Sign club is really fun. However there should be more in the line of academics. The faculty are really nice and helpful.

There is a lack of discipline at Laurel High and if your child is not in the 'click' then it does not matter what they do academically. There is a great lack of help with scholarships from the staff. The tests score are not a good indicator of the discipline problems within this school system. The greatest problem lies within the superintendent's office and the lack of leadership.

This high school is great because of the involvment of the teachers and parents. They go out of their way to make you feel special.
