Our son has been attending DC West since kindergarten and is now in second grade. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and other students. He has adored all of his teachers and we have never had any issues with communication or anything else. The principal and office staff are great as is the superintendent's office. We moved out of the area, but opted for open enrollment and everyone has been great. We would highly recommend the school-A+
If you don't fit what the assistant principal thinks at the H.S. is the "perfect student" he will not protect you. A lot of bullying and harrassment at this school with no real support from staff.
Moved here from California. I love the small classes and the one on one time my kids get from their teachers
