Staton Elementary is the best school in Las Vegas. My daughter has learned so much and benefits everyday from the guidance and leadership of this school. The teachers are fantastic. The PTO is awesome. The principal and vice principal are the best.
THIS IS THE MOST SPECIAL SCHOOL I WILL EVER KNOW AS A MOTHER. I FEEL VERY BLESSED TO LIVE IN SUMMERLIN AND TO GET ETHEL STATON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR MY CHILDREN. I WILL MISS THIS SCHOOL AS JOEY WILL BE GOING TO SIG ROGICH. MRS GARDNER AND MR. LAYTON ARE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. THEY ARE THE MOST CARING PEOPLE THAT I WILL ALWAYS BE THANKFUL FOR. SINCERLEY, EVA ROY
My daughter is in the all day kindergarten program. I'm very impressed with how much she's learned and how much she loves school. I'm extremely happy with this school, and the staff shows a great deal of love and respect towards my daughter.
I am so grateful to have Mr. Herz as my son's 4rth grade teacher last year. He is one great teacher who built up my son's self esteem to where he left off in the 2nd grade. Out of his whole experience at Staton, he rants and raves over Mr. Herz. School should be a place for learning, but more importantly FUN and comforting! The Riley's will be forever grateful to him!
The quality of the academic programs is equal to many if not all private schools in the area without the cost. The principal somehow brings all students, staff and parents together to build a strong foundation for our students.
I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!! My daughter is in 3rd grade. She has been in private schools since preschool and we were nervous about going to a public school. SHE LOVES IT!! Her teacher Ms. Powers is wonderful and she loves the specials. I think the principal and the staff have a great vision.
This is a top notch school! My son attends the all day kindergarten class. The principle, teachers & staff are all exceptional. The empowerment program is simply amazing too. All students should be lucky enough to attend a school like Staton.
We arrived from England in Feb 2009 and our daughter went into Grade 2, She had a lovely teacher ( Mrs Dalton ) and thoroughly enjoyed being in the classroom, she is starting Grade 3 in August and I hope she continues to do well. The school is very clean, the Campus is very safe and the staff are very helpful, I am glad we found such a great school for our daughter after such a big move.
Was a good school now not at all. Administration worried about test scores and appearance not what is really going on in the school. We have had bullying problems for most of the year - had to contact principal numerous times for action to be taken. About 50/50 on the teachers - the good ones tend to follow the previous principals standards and values which is good. Very overrated even by Nevada's low standards.
Great school, wonderful and caring Kindergarten teacher. Clean campus and a safe campus. I am a grandmother to a grade K student.
