Uncaring teachers and staff never return phone calls to parents. GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS !!!!!!!!!
I am new this year to Faiss. I have noticed a large amount of bullying that has not been resolved and is continuing to happen. I ask the people being bullied if they had told staff and, they told me they had not yet done anything about it yet. On the other hand, the classes at this school are better academically compared to my old school. Overall, so far, this school is okay."
Sometimes I wonder if the people who give bad reports here are speaking from their child's point of view who probably has a bad day every day, or they're just trying to get parents to send their children to their school that is actually exactly like how they describe Faiss here. I am a student who enjoys every single day with my friends and people I don't know and probably will never meet. The teachers are kind, the students have their own opinions and ways of life, and the staff will try and help you with your problems whether you are being bullied or your locker decided it will stop opening. The fights here? Dance fights. They compete to see whose better than who. As another reviewer said, there would be a small fight every n amount of months. The dean and some teachers aren't mean, they try and teach disipline, whats right and whats wrong. Now stop telling stories about what you think the school is like after concluding that this school is bad, sit in the corner, and think about what you've done.
looking at some of the reviews here, i wonder if we are talking about the same school. I had the privilege of attending this school for three years. There are fights but i have seen that drastically decrease the last 3 years so that when i was in ^th, a fight would be once a month, 7th-every 3 months. When I was in *th grade i did not see a fight. They have an amazing staff who care about the students and are always working to find out what students think that might make the school a better environment. The students work directly with the principal also. Bullying is never tolerated and if anyone sees bullying they can anonymously report it on the school website. The councilors also listen to the student not as a superior, but as an equal who seeks the best for them. They are filled with amazing teachers, who all encouraged me to reach a higher education, and i did, with their help, and even when i am in high school they helped me. There are many opportunities here, but you have to strive for them. they are not just given. If you are intelligent enough, when you are in seventh grade you can be taking a high school honors algebra class. I do not know many schools that do that. thanks
A very strangely ran school. Not very parent friendly, they would prefer no parent involvement except for their wallets. Very hard to speak with the principal, you have to go threw the counselors assistant, then the counselor then the deans assistant then the dean and maybe get as far as the vice principals assistant/ secretary. WOW where does the school need cut backs. I think we need an assistant for all the assistants in replace of two teachers THAT TEACH OUR CHILDREN. HMMMM The school is ran by a bunch of teachers that feel very superior, their word is higher than the principals (they chose the principal and other teachers at the school, NOT THE DISTRICT OR THE PRINCIPAL PRIOR TOO.) A lot of parents that have had their children enrolled and have the time to teach at home have withdrawn their children to teach them or have requested for a zoning variance. Student bullying IS TOLERATED as well as fights and discrimination. It needs a major house cleaning and re-structering of guidelines. Students that leave here learn nothing but drama and attitude not an education...
I have never attended a worse school in my life. The teachers literally have no idea of what they're talking about. There's an excess of violence almost every day. The kids are racist, and if you don't conform to their expectations, you will get beaten up. I wonder how 95% of these people can even BREATHE on their own. PARENTS, DO YOUR CHILD A FAVOUR. Do NOT send them to this school no matter how 'nice' it may seem. There are 0 opportunities here. I developed anorexia and a bad habit of slashing my wrists, the counselours did literally zip about it, they laughed and told me life got better. Do NOT send your child here. EVER.
