This school has everything! They take the 3 'R's seriously, and offer sports and music programs too. Students learn with new computers, and best of all, they aim to have 100% graduation rate. In small rural communities, with only a regional high school, thiis is outstanding.

I attend this High School and I can personally tell you that most of the classes are boring, and too long.

I think that Mascoma is a great school. I have been there myself and there are a lot of really awesome teachers there who not only support fun learning but also personal support and give lots of extra time and money. The sports and music and extracurriculars are also a lot of fun! Mascoma does need some new equipment like for PE and for the science labs and new textbooks and more space but overall with all of the problems like uncooperative parents, low funding, limited resources like space and good teachers that Mascoma faces, they do a wonderful job educating and taking care of everything that needs to get done. There are also amazing spirit events like winter carnival and spring fling etc. that are so much fun. Mascoma is by far one of my favorite places and I love going to school everyday! This is the best school!

Mascoma has a lot of extracurricular - you forgot volleyball, field hockey, track, a football club, Lifesmarts, and an outstanding Destination Imagination team that won the states and went on to score very well at globals. There are many advanced students who are encouraged to excel. Because the school is small, the students can get a lot of personal time with teachers, and teachers are more than willing to put in extra time to work with students; they really care about the students.

Although Mascoma does have problems with some students, overall it's enjoyable. Most of the teachers are willing to stay after school for hours to make sure their students understand the material. Most teachers make learning fun and enjoyable. Yes, they need to update a few textbooks but overall they are new. The school has a good music department and art department. It has many clubs and activities that students can participate in and many faculty members willing to help students through any situation. They are always willing to listen! from a mascoma student

Mascoma Valley Regional High School has a great lack of extracurricular activities it has a softball team a basketball team and a lacross team but that is it. Mascoma also has a severe problem with disiplining the students and has a really bad problems with funding for more funding for things such as music, art, and sports.
