My children have both had a wonderful experience at Somersworth Middle School. The staff is very caring, and they have been challenged academically. SMS is a great school and community.

The staff at this school has No ability to teach children. If you plan on moving to this area I'd seek a different school system.Compare this school ( Middle School ) to any other NH school and see the very low rating . 2 .

The Somersworth School Board needs to do a complete and in-depth review of the Middle Schools Special Education Department. Some Para-professionals are doing most of the work without guidance from some Special Education teachers. The children are suffering and will be losing a year of education if this persists.

Dangerous, completely out of control, and no one is taking responsibility. Shameful!

I have had two children graduate from Somersworth High School, one that will graduate in 2004, and one that will be going there next year (2004). I graduated from there in 1979. I believe that the school has highly motivated my children to be successful in life. They had alot of the same teachers that I had which proves to me and others that the teachers of Somersworth High School are certainly dedicated to their profession. I do however feel that the dress code isn't enforced the way it should be which may seem trivial but is an important part of learning. All in all though, Somersworth High has a great relationship with the parents and are truly dedicated to teaching. I wouldn't think of sending my children anywhere else.
