Sunapee Elementary is a great school with many caring teachers that work hard to educate our chidlren to be a well rounded person. Parent involment is encouraged for many events offered by the school and PTO. The townspeople take great pride in its school and the education that is provided. Great job Sunapee educators!

Terrible terrible school. Teachers unmotivated and actually threatened by gifted children, that is, the high end of the gifted spectrum. Very small town cliques not accepting of any outsiders, teachers have their own kids in their class!!! Very abnormal setting, perhaps this is normal for rural America? If you want your kids to be challenged send them to Kearsage, we did and believe me the difference is night and day!! Terrible school

It seems as though the teachers want to make a difference, but we never see any evidence of the 'extra' it takes to make a truely globally competitive school. The school building is in terrible shape, until we come to terms with this and find a solution as a community, things will be hard to change here in Sunapee.
